Refund Policy

Updated on: 21 December 2025

Although we’re confident that rigorous practice using our materials, online class and mock tests will help you prepare for the exam, we do not provide any form of guarantee except where expressly stated for full-fee paying Gold Kit students enrolled from 16/11/2019 onwards (as described in the relevant Gold Kit guarantee terms, if applicable).

Before enrolling, please ensure you have:

  • a stable internet connection, and
  • a computer/device suitable for online learning.

If you would like to check the course layout and delivery format before purchasing, we offer a sample course (Starter Kit) for free. Refunds are not provided simply because you do not like the course layout after enrolling.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If there is a major failure with a service we supply (for example, the service is not provided with due care and skill, is materially not as described, or is not fit for an agreed purpose), you may have rights to a remedy under the ACL. Where a consumer guarantee applies, we will provide the remedy required by law.

This policy explains what we offer for change-of-mind / personal circumstance cancellations.

Definitions

For clarity:

  • Portal access means you have been provided login/access to any digital course content, including practice materials, downloadable resources, mock tests, or class recordings.
  • Course start / classes begin means the scheduled start time of the first live class session for your batch (whether or not you attend).
  • Services include (where applicable): live online classes, recordings, practice materials, mock tests, one-on-one sessions, add-on services, and support delivered through the portal.
  • Change-of-mind / personal circumstances include (without limitation): you no longer need the course (e.g., visa/PR outcome changes), illness, travel, work roster changes, family matters, or schedule conflicts where there is no failure of the service supplied by us.
  • Used (mock tests) includes opening/starting a mock test attempt, downloading/accessing answer keys/explanations, or receiving results/feedback.
  • Used (1:1) includes a delivered session, attending, or failing to attend a booked session where it is treated as delivered under your scheduling rules.

Full refund (before classes begin and before portal access is granted)

If you request a cancellation before the course start date and before any portal access or course materials have been provided, you are eligible for a 100% refund.

Partial refund (portal access granted, but classes have not begun)

If classes have not yet started, but portal access has already been granted, you may be eligible for a 50% refund, provided that:

  • you have not attended any live classes, and
  • you have not used any services scheduled specifically for you (for example, a one-on-one session that has already occurred).

Why only 50%?
Access to digital materials (including resources that may be downloadable or viewable upon login) forms part of the product supplied. Because digital access begins immediately and usage cannot always be accurately tracked or reversed, we cannot offer a full refund once access has been provided, even if you claim the content was not used. This includes admin charges already included in the full fee, which cannot be refunded in this case.

Change-of-mind / personal circumstances after classes begin

Once the course has officially begun, we have commenced delivery of the course and reserved your place in the batch. For change-of-mind or personal circumstance cancellations after classes begin:

1) If mock tests and/or one-on-one sessions have been used
No refund will be provided if you have accessed or attempted any mock test, and/or if any one-on-one session has been delivered, attended, or missed without rescheduling within the permitted timeframes.

2) If mock tests and/or one-on-one sessions have not been used
If classes have begun and you have already been granted portal access (including practice materials), but you have not accessed/attempted any mock test and have not used any one-on-one session, you may be eligible for a partial refund for the unused component(s) on a pro-rata basis.

  • Pro-rata refunds are calculated at our reasonable discretion based on the unused components remaining in your enrolment and our standard pricing/valuation of those components (including any bundled discount that applied at purchase). Any unused one-on-one sessions and/or mock tests will expire after portal access ends unless extension request has been made.
  • We do not provide pro-rata refunds for components that have already commenced or been supplied, including batch reservation, live class delivery once commenced, and digital materials access once granted.

Important: This section applies to change-of-mind/personal circumstances and does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) where a consumer guarantee applies.

Access to recordings

Where your enrolment includes recorded sessions, you will continue to have access to recordings for the access period stated at enrolment (commonly up to 3 months after the course), so you can study at your convenience even if you cannot attend live.

Important: Access to recordings is part of what we supply. However, it does not limit any rights you may have under the ACL if there is a genuine problem with the service we provide.

Examples of change-of-mind / personal circumstances (not ACL faults)

The following examples are typically not reasons for an ACL refund by themselves, because they relate to the student’s circumstances rather than a failure of our service:

  • you receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency or your visa/points situation changes and you no longer need the test,
  • you are unwell or have a medical issue (including travel for treatment),
  • you need to return to your home country,
  • you have schedule conflicts, work commitments, or personal emergencies.

In these cases, the refund outcomes in this policy apply.

Transfers (allowed)

If you can’t attend, you may transfer your enrolment to another individual for the same batch at no additional cost, provided that:

  • the transfer request is made in writing,
  • it is approved by us

The replacement student must use your email ID to login and communicate, accept the same terms and conditions that applied to your enrolment and must join the same batch you enrolled in.

Case-by-case review

Any refund reasons not explicitly listed above may be reviewed case-by-case. Approval is not guaranteed and remains at our reasonable discretion.

Refund request procedure

To request a refund, you must:

  1. Submit a written request to our support team at info@nepalinaati.com.
  2. Include your full name, enrolment date, batch details, and the reason for the request.
  3. Submit the request within the applicable refund window (as outlined above).

Refund processing time

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Fees and add-ons

  • Payment gateway / transaction fees: For change-of-mind refunds, we may deduct payment gateway or transaction fees where those fees are not recoverable by us.
  • Add-on services: Add-ons already received (or already scheduled and prepared specifically for you) may be non-refundable.

Where a refund is required under the ACL, we will provide the remedy required by law (and this section does not limit those rights).
